Bringing imagination to life
I have been an artist at heart since childhood. Even when pursuing art as a profession wasn’t an option for me, the desire to create never left. ArrtNation is the home I have built for that lifelong love: a space for imagination, emotion, and the joy of making.
A self-taught journey, one medium at a time
My journey of exploring art mediums began in 2014 with graphite. From there, I moved into charcoal, then acrylics, resin, texture art, murals, modelling pastes, air-dry clay, and polymer clay. Along the way, I explored mandala and lippan art, paintings, and three-dimensional paintings.
Each medium received its own time, patience, and practice. I dedicated years to learning, experimenting, and building my skills, because I never wanted the limits of what I knew to become the limits of what I could imagine.
That curiosity is still very much alive. Recently, I began pottery classes, my first experience of formal instruction in an art medium. After so many years of teaching myself, being a student in this way feels exciting and deeply meaningful. I like to think I’m making the six-year-old version of myself proud.
Finding my way back to my dream
My path to ArrtNation wasn’t a straight one. I completed dentistry in India, a direction chosen for me rather than the profession I had dreamed of. After moving to Canada, I spent two years pursuing postgraduate studies. When that path didn’t lead to a job in my field, I began to see an opportunity to return to the dream I had carried all along.
ArrtNation had already existed in a quieter form, as a place to keep and share my art and its memories. In 2023, I gave it a fuller life as a business, beginning with polymer clay jewellery. Over time, it grew to include bookmarks, worry stones, magnets, keychains, and charms.
The name, look, and identity have evolved as I have learned. But the emotion behind it has always stayed the same: bringing imagination to life. I have chosen to grow through doing, rather than waiting for everything to be perfect.
Redefining Emotions
“Redefining Emotions” has long been my slogan, and it remains part of ArrtNation’s heart. To me, art is more than something to look at or own. It can hold a feeling, spark a memory, offer a moment of peace, or bring a little happiness into an ordinary day.
As ArrtNation takes on a new look and direction, that belief is finding new ways to come to life.
Not just art to own, but creativity to experience
I have always wanted to share more than the things I make. I want others to experience the happiness, peace, and joy I feel while creating, and to have a space where they can explore their own imagination.
That is why workshops have become part of ArrtNation’s story. Through creative gatherings and private-event workshops, I’m sharing the different joys that different art mediums can offer. It is also my way of giving back, through opportunities to connect, create, and experience something meaningful together.
A new chapter, with the same heart
While building a business, keeping up with inventory, and managing the work behind the scenes, I began to feel distant from my own art and the joy that started it all. That feeling helped me recognise what needed to change.
ArrtNation is now moving towards a renewed focus on creative experiences, workshops, and personal dream projects that years of practice and experimentation have given me the confidence to pursue. Jewellery is taking a back seat, while polymer clay will remain part of the story through worry stones, bookmarks, keychains, and magnets.
This is a growing, changing space, just like the artist behind it. New ideas and updates are on their way, but the purpose remains: to bring imagination to life, without placing limits on what it can become.
Thank you for being here, for supporting my journey, and for being part of ArrtNation’s next chapter.
